Job Summary

Responsible for driving process optimization and technology improvement for corrugated and offset packaging converting processes. This role leads engineering projects from feasibility study to machine commissioning, helping enhance manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence.

Job Description

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes for corrugated and offset packaging converting operations, focusing on productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare investment proposals for new equipment, technologies, and process improvement projects.
• Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects, including resource planning, budgeting, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and machine start-up.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout project implementation and equipment installation.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable manufacturing technologies, machine specifications, and automation solutions for printing and converting operations.
• Apply Design of Experiments (DOE) and engineering analysis to optimize machine parameters and improve process capability.
• Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes to enable production transfer and best practice sharing across multiple plants.
• Monitor production performance, analyze process data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximize machine efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure engineering projects and process improvements comply with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing technical expertise in converting technology and manufacturing process development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Printing Engineering, or other related engineering fields (Bachelor GPA > 2.70, Master GPA > 3.30)
• 1–3 years of experience in corrugated packaging, printing, converting, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering
• Knowledge of manufacturing process optimization, DOE, and industrial engineering principles
• Experience in engineering project management, machine commissioning, and process improvement is preferred
• Familiar with automation systems, printing & converting processes, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills
• Good command of English in verbal and written (TOEIC > 550)
• Willing to work onsite at SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (Ban Pong, Ratchaburi)
