Job Description

• Lead process optimization and continuous improvement projects across flexible, rigid, and foodservice packaging manufacturing.
• Identify improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, minimize waste, and improve process efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies and develop engineering solutions for process and technology improvement initiatives.
• Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects from concept through implementation while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing performance.
• Support the implementation of automation, AI, and new manufacturing technologies to improve operational excellence.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, molds, and equipment for packaging production.
• Analyze production data and recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and manufacturing capability.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, BRC, Cleanroom, quality, and safety standards throughout project execution.
• Share technical knowledge and provide engineering support and consultation to manufacturing teams across SCGP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Packaging Technology, Materials Science, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields (Bachelor GPA > 2.70, Master GPA > 3.30)
• 3 - 6 years of experience in packaging manufacturing, food packaging, paper packaging, pulp & paper, or related industries
• Experience in project management and leading engineering improvement projects
• Knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes such as laminating, printing, die cutting, paper forming, pulp molding, paper sack manufacturing, injection molding, extrusion blow molding, or thermoforming
• Knowledge of process optimization, automation, AI technologies, mold design, quality systems, and manufacturing standards (GMP, BRC, Cleanroom)
• Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking, project management, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Good command of English in verbal and written communication (TOEIC > 550)
• Willing to work onsite at SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (Ban Pong, Ratchaburi)
